There are a lot of different reasons to use your cell phone video camera. Friends together doing fun video chatting, etc.

Let’s take a look at what you need to take videos with your camera:

A new word, if you haven’t heard it before: VLOGGING! It’s the same as blogging, only you do video with it instead. If you are going to post it on TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook, or just with your friends, the ideal thing to do is just what you see in the above photo. This is probably for the more serious user, but, the “RINGLIGHT” is a tool you can hook up and have a more even light to do your best filming.

As you can see, they do make tripods for cell phones. And they are not that expensive. I bought one for my phone, and it was only $17 on Amazon. Why are they so cheap when my photo tripod cost $100? Well, your photo tripod weighs so much more, and if it gets a big lens on it, it will be off balance. An extra strong tripod is necessary. With the cell phone tripod, your cell phone is very light weight, and can be easily mounted on the tripod, and it probably won’t tip over either, unless someone accidentally kicks it.

The best things to use video for is:

  • Selfie’s with a friend or family
  • Group photo or video
  • taking video of your family member in concert
  • capturing the beauties of nature
  • Your child’s first steps
  • Recording your baby talking
  • getting a video of your Elderly grandparents
  • Your child, your friend in a sports game
  • Someone receiving an award

Oh, I think there are so many things you can use your video camera for. Hopefully this just gave you some ideas.

Inspirational photo quote for the day:

What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.
