FINGERS IN YOUR PHOTOS – HOW TO AVOID:

Cell phone problem: Getting your finger in the photo

I think, at least at first, we have all had the problem of having our finger get in the photo. It is just awful, especially if it was an important photo.

So, how do we avoid this? There are some guidelines of how to hold your smart phone, while taking pictures.

When you’re taking pictures with your phone, first of all think about how to hold it. Even though phone cameras have image stabilization, it’s generally not enough if your grip is shaky. The basic approach for stabilizing your phone when taking pictures with it is simple.

  1. Hold the phone in both hands and hold your arms with your elbows pointing towards your feet.
  2. For more stability, lean your elbows against your stomach.
  3. If your phone has a physical camera trigger, use it. That will make the process more convenient and reduce the risk that you’ll blur your photos.

Just be aware your lens is, on the front of your camera, then concentrate about where your fingers are when holding your camera.
